Question:

My 22 year old heterosexual son was tested in December for HIV and was negative, was tested again 1 month ago and was negative 2 weeks later tested again positive. How could that happen? What do we need to do now?

Please help, he is worried that he is going to die, not get married or have children, please tell us what to really expect. God Bless

Dr. Kaiser replies:

The information you provided is a little sketchy but I will try my best to explain the situation to you. If a person is exposed to the HIV virus and becomes infected it sometimes can take up to 3-6 months for the HIV ELISA antibody test to turn positive. This test can also be falsely positive, so it is very important to redo the test again as well as to get what is called an HIV viral load test. If the viral load test is over 1000 copies, along with a positive antibody test, then there is no doubt that your son has become HIV(+).

If that is the case, let me make one thing very clear. ³At the present time, I believe we have all the tools necessary for someone who has recently become HIV(+) to live a normal and healthy lifespan.² But it doesn¹t happen by accident. Your son will need to step up and take responsibility for taking excellent care of himself. Thank God the medications are available if necessary but people can go many years without needing to use potentially toxic medications by following my aggressive natural therapies recommendations including following the Immune Enhancement Diet, taking the K-PAX vitamin formula, exercising regularly, and having a healthy, positive attitude. My website is loaded with helpful information and, by the way, I will be speaking in Houston on Saturday, November 13th. Good luck!
